Susan McCulley
Susan McCulley has a passion for being of service and helping people. In her current role as a Coordinator with Alberta Health Services, Volunteer Resources she is able to match people who have a passion for helping others with a volunteer role that will ultimately brighten the lives of patients and residents. Susan is also a COMPASS Care for the Caregiver Facilitator and bring to this role both personal and work experience. She believes the primary value of offering support to caregivers is to provide a safe place for caregivers to talk about stressful experiences and personal frustrations. It is also a way to connect people with the supports and resources they need in their caregiver journey.

Kari Aykroyd
Kari Aykroyd is a wife, mom, daughter, sister, co-worker, and friend. Kari is a graduate from Mount Royal University with a diploma in Recreation Therapy. Kari is the Director at WDFCS, and brings over 26 years of experience as a professional in the human services field. 25 years as a wife and 23 years of being a mom. Kari offers research evidence - based information from a variety of training she has had the privilege to take, as well as many personal experiences which she will share with realness, empathy & humour as we navigate this journey together through the Family Wellness 101 presentation. Most journey’s are not a smooth road with many curves, hills and unknowns along the way. But with the right tools, an idea of where you want to go you will get though the hard times, breakdowns, and continuously learning adding value to our lives for better roads ahead.

Paula Iverson
I have always been interested in all areas of health and wellness for myself and to inspire others. This passion has led me to study and practice as a Holistic Health Practitioner with a keen interest in the areas of Reiki, aromatherapy and meditation practices. I have completed a Psychological Health and Safety Certificate and I am a yoga teacher. As a consultant with Sage Wellness Connection. I hope to share my passions and knowledge to empower others.

I am a true believer in nourishing all aspects of our mind, body and soul. I chose to expand my health and wellness knowledge by completing a Psychological Health and Safety Certificate, 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification and Executive Life Coaching. This education is a great compliment to my previous experiences around health and wellness. I have recently expanded my efforts and have joined Sage Wellness Connection to provide mental health based consultation.

Ariel Haubrich, M.Ed Psych
Ariel Haubrich works in school & community mental health as a counsellor and program manager, and also as a consultant, presenter and private practitioner with government, businesses, teams and individuals working toward personal and organizational development. She is a Certified Professional Counsellor and a registered member of the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. Ariel has almost 20 years of experience as a counsellor and programming coordinator in school & community systems, and has been involved in developing and leading school division projects, crisis response teams, and program initiatives. She has written a number of journal and interest articles on various mental health topics, and enjoys providing training, presentations and workshops provincially, nationally and internationally. Ariel also owns a small business (The Welcome Mat yoga studio) and sits as Vice-Chair of the local Credit Union, and as a Town Councillor for the Town of Wainwright. She loves yoga and reading to “mind her mind,” and the rewards that collaboration and connection can bring to our lives and our teams. Adelle Stewart is the Executive Director of the Do More Agriculture Foundation. Joining the team in May of 2019, she is focused on the continued growth and expansion of the foundation across Canada. Adelle is a Certified Life and Business Coach, and brings over 20 years’ experience in the health and wellness sector to the position. Before joining Do More, Adelle spent the last 5 years with a national organization focused on mental health promotion and program development. Through her personal experiences as well as her career, Adelle has developed in depth knowledge of the Canadian health care system and integrative health supports for physical and mental health. Adelle is also an author and entrepreneur. Her first book comes out in April and she owns and operates Prime Equine near Saskatoon Saskatchewan, providing boutique boarding, equine products, horse health and nutrition courses.
